Preview: Fantasy Premier League GW36

With less than a handful of matches for every club in the Premier League, time is running out to achieve targets despite the division being settled for the most part.

It’s still all to play for in the TGF Championship though.

GW36 deadline: 11:30 [BST]

TGF Championship
1. Babgee Broncos (Ken Mulandi) 2077
2. Ewberz army (Harry Ewbank) 2040
3. Speedsters FC (Arun Kumar) 2025
4. Omnishambles reserve (Chris Rigby) 2005
5. Hakuna Juan Mata (Nathan Albon) 1982
6. The Halitosis Kid (Bruce Chambers) 1967
7. Made of Stones (Lewis Ridley) 1923
Top scorer last gameweek:

GW36 picks
Goalkeeper
Ederson MCI £5.7m WHU [A]
Now a title winner, there’s no doubt the ball-playing Brazilian stopper will be just as desperate to claim maximum points. The clean sheets his side have kept thus far this campaign shouldn’t dry up too so with the season goal-crazy at this point, he’s your man if you want to fork out a decent bit of cash.

Defender
Jan Vertonghen TOT £6.0m WAT [H]
It’s been a frustrating year for Spurs with no silverware available however their experienced Belgian vice-skipper has been quietly exceptional. Racking up points all season has lead to a still fair price tag however with a straightforward run-in (in which they usually flourish) and last chance to nail down a starting spot at the World Cup, he may be worth it.

Midfielder
Alexis Sánchez MUN £11.5m ARS [H]
Seemingly now over his rough beginning to his time at Old Trafford, the devastating Chilean already upset one North London team last weekend and might just do it again – versus his former club. Another price that will set you back a fair amount, but another worthwhile one.

Forward
Jay Rodriguez WBA £5.3m NEW [H]
Misery is fading to acceptance for the Baggies and after being cleared of racial abuse at a court hearing, their pacey striker is back firing. At a cheap price and playing teams with little to play for, it might be an unorthodox coup to get this man in.
