Preview: Fantasy Premier League GW35

It’s a smaller gameweek this time around compared to it’s predecessor (due to FA Cup semi-final action) that ended less than 24 hours ago, but things are still up for grabs in spite of the title race, top 4 race and relegation battle over in most people’s view.

Some players have hit the 2000 point mark in our mini-league too – a commendable tally to say the least – and, unlike the Premier League, it’s tight at the top.

GW35 deadline: 11:30 [GMT]

TGF Championship
1. Babgee Broncos (Ken Mulandi) 2062
2. Ewberz army (Harry Ewbank) 2007*
3. Speedsters FC (Arun Kumar) 2001
4. Omnishambles reserve (Chris Rigby) 1973
5. Hakuna Juan Mata (Nathan Albon) 1920
6. The Halitosis Kid (Bruce Chambers) 1900
7. Made of Stones (Lewis Ridley) 1890
* Top scorer last gameweek

GW35 picks
Goalkeeper
Jordan Pickford EVE 4.9m NEW [H]
Likely his nation’s first-choice stopper the World Cup, the Toffees man is as solid as ever and has a very decent run-in ahead. If you want cheap stability in this crazy end to the season, he’s your man.

Defender
Trent Alexander-Arnold LIV £4.4m WBA [A]
What a star this young local boy has become. It’s barely believable that he still remains at that bargain of price so get him while he stays that way.

Midfielder
Wilfried Zaha CRY £6.9m WAT [A]
Grabbing his first Premier League brace in his side’s derby last time out, rumours are circulating of his departure. He may well be useful against an opposition between now and the end of the campaign.

Forward
Gabriel Jesus MCI £10m SWA [H]
A title winner in just his first full season in the division, the Brazilian is keen to notch up even more and with little testing during the run-in, he could well do it. His price tag is fairly decent for the amount of points he’s racked up so far.
