Following the success of February release “You Ain’t The Girl”, rising star Louis Antoniou is back with his second release of 2018 in the form of new singles “Lonesomeville” and “I Let The Rain Fall Hard”.
Venturing into heavier territory than his usual bluesy tones, Antoniou delivers a slick, fast-paced number with “Lonesomeville”, a frenetic 4 minute track showcasing the singer’s trademark tongue-in-cheek lyrics over an energetic guitar-heavy backdrop.
Second offering ‘I Let The Rain Fall Hard’ takes the listener down a darker route, telling a story of love lost over a slow-burning, folky instrumental.
The singles stem from a hugely successful 2017 for the Londoner, as a television appearance at Dingwalls, Camden followed by festival slots at Y Not Festival and Dot to Dot propelled Antoniou towards a prolific Autumn of gigs, culminating in shows at The Camden Assembly and 93 Feet East.
This latest offering is part of a five single release in 2018 for Antoniou, with new material being recorded at the iconic Crypt Studios. With a barnstorming set of tracks and an equally exhilarating live show, Louis Antoniou is a name not to be forgotten this coming year.
