Fantasy Premier League GW21 preview

Footballing festivities continue and there’s even more congestion in the fixture lists. It’s a slightly complicated schedule over the new year, which means this is our chance to make sure you’re up to speed with all things gameweek-wise.

The anomalies of the league comes in the form of Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United who don’t have a match this gameweek but have two in the next gameweek; so don’t worry, your teams won’t be affected by the change as once both upcoming gameweeks are done, everything will be equal.

Most other teams have a match before and after the turn of the calendar year.

GW21 deadline – 14:00 30/12/17

Let’s take a look at the TGF Championship ahead of this gameweek…

1st. Speedsters FC (Arun Kumar) 1176 points
2nd. Ewberz Army (Harry Ewbank) 1160 points
3rd. Borussia Teeth (Nathan Ridley) 1159 points
4th. Duhai Bonda Ayahanda (Amanina Sabki) 1145 points
5th. Carlisle’s Reserves (Jack Cousin) 1126 points
6th. Bagbee Broncos (Ken Mulandi) 1122 points
7th. Omnishambles reserve (Chris Rigby) 1097 points
Top scorer last gameweek: 14th Clover United F.C. (Paris Keli) 1060 points

Now it’s time for this gameweek’s picks…

Goalkeeper
Ederson (£5.5m) – CRY (A)
In a team that simply cannot be beaten at the moment, there’s no more reliable man than this epitome of a modern-day stopper and for a decent price it’s hard to go wrong.

Defender
Ben Mee (£4.8m) – HUD (A)
With strong performances so far, one of the most underrated men in the division right now is a bargain whilst his cost won’t set you back too much.

Midfielder
Jack Wilshere (£5.4m) – WBA (A)
Playing consistently now in a team that is slowly beginning to turn the wheels, the goals & assists from the industrious play-maker should come soon.

Forward
Roberto Firmino (£8.9m) – LEI (H)
Scoring goals and working hard, thus earning praise from his manager, means that his current price tag seems low for such a productive player.
