Fantasy Premier League GW18 preview

Spectacularly, we’re now nearly at the halfway mark of this season and the Christmas period fully begins.
Let’s take a look at the TGF Championhip ahead of this gameweek…
1st. Ewberz Army (Harry Ewbank) 979 points
2nd. Borussia Teeth (Nathan Ridley) 949 points
3rd. Speedsters FC (Arun Kumar) 944 points
4th. Carlisle’s Reserves (Jack Cousin) 943 points
5th. Duhai Bonda Ayahana (Amanina Sabki) 926 points
6th. Bagbee Broncos (Ken Mulandi) 923 points
7th. Draw Trafford (Hemanth Sai) 920 points
Last gameweek’s top scorer:
15th. Omnishambles reserve (Chris Rigby) 70 points
Now it’s time for this gameweek’s picks…
Goalkeepers
In: Jordan Pickford – £4.8m
Starting to shine in games in an improving side, he may rise in price pretty soon which means now is the time to go for him.
Out: Asmir Begović – £4.5m
Extremely tough fixtures are ahead for his team  and unfortunately he’s not going to do pick up many points in any of them at all.
Defenders
In: Ben Mee – £4.7m
Clean sheets are rife in his record so far and more may well be on there way for this bargain.
Out: Vincent Kompany – £5.8m
Yet again injured, it’s time for him to yet again be shipped out.
Midfielders
In: Riyad Mahrez – £8.6m
Playing in a fairly purple match, his price definitely warrants his output.
Out: Jordan Henderson – £5.4m
A weakening team is becoming more and more difficult to play well in, especially if you’re not being selected.
Forwards
In: Wayne Rooney – £7.5m
Goals galore this campaign and a real fire inside means there’s a slight renaissance on the cards for this man.
Out: Marcus Rashford – £7.6m
Fairly disappointing this season and not guaranteed a place means things don’t look great for the youngster.
As always, good luck!
