Noel Gallagher: “It made it the best song I’ve ever written, until the next one.”

Noel Gallagher has spoken out about the inclusion of scissors in his live performance of She Taught Me How To Fly on last night’s episode of Jools Holland.

In an exclusive interview, Noel revealed all, “I was cutting pictures of Damon Albarn out of some of my old copies of the NME for my wall, and all of a sudden it just made this incredible sound. So we got a load from Ryman and got into the studio.

“They complete the track, it’s by far the best song I’ve ever written, until my next one.”

Fans have expressed how well the stationery fits with the track. One fan, who asked not to be named, said, “I think its amazing, I just hope he does that thing with the ruler where you slide it on and off the table and make that twanging noise, that’d be mega.”

We contacted Paul Weller, who refused to comment on whether it was actually him on the new instrument.
