We all know LG is back with a new album this October, and with the first single ‘Wall of Glass’ going down a treat, none less than during his set at Glastonbury at the weekend, he’s released another this morning.
‘Chinatown’ is a slower track, Liam’s inner-Lennon really comes out, where ‘Wall of Glass’ was hard-hitting and full of swagger, ‘Chinatown’ is more melancholic. It kicks off with a slow bass sound, before Liam’s vocals, in fine condition, set in to tell a tale of yoga and concentrating on winning.
It feels like this is the child of Liam’s few years in the wilderness, the stage after Beady Eye where he took a step back from music.

‘As You Were’ is out on October 8.
