Dalai Lama to appear at Glasto 2015

What do you get when you put together the head monk of Tibetan Buddhism and Lionel Richie? The so far announced appearances for this years’ Glastonbury festival of course. The Dalai Lama, before deleting it, announced on his own website that he will appear on Worthy Farm on the morning Sunday 28th June to give a talk on his faith and hopefully cure a few hangovers ahead of the final day.
The following day he’s appearing at Kempton Racecourse, meaning his holiness is in England at the time, so it seems as good as confirmed that he will join Lionel Richie in saying “Hello” to the Glastonbury faithful, he fills the Sunday Legends slot that was last year filled by Dolly Parton.
Now all we’re waiting for is for Pope Francis to headline the Friday night and we’re sorted, right?
